System connectivity and integration

For larger festivals or other requirements where we may need to integrate and send or receive audio from other systems, we can provide the following connectivity:

  • Dante
Up to 64 sources and destinations, latency varies based on network equipment and configuration but vary between <1ms to 100ms.
  • Waves AoIP
Up to 64 sources and destination into a Waves Sound Grid or SuperRack Performer system at very low latency
  • AES50
48 x 3 sources and destination on the Midas/Behringer ecosystem, deterministic extremely low latency
  • AES/EBU
    Stereo only
  • USB
48 sources and destinations to any computer at deterministic very low latency
  • Live recording
Up to 64 + 4 sources recorded simultaneously to a local memory card and USB stick for off line transfer and processing.
  • Analogue outputs
While analogue outs are typically used to drive speakers, monitors and IEMs, up to 8 are normally available, more with advanced notice and planning.

Most of these are available simultaneously at full bandwidth, with some limitations.

This year alone, these integration have enabled us to work with our clients on wide variety of projects:

  • A band has their IEMs all configured in their desk/rack with their instruments DIs also going straight into it. They send all the clean sources to us over AES50 for FoH mixing.
  • Mirroring all the clean sources over Dante to a streaming suite elsware in the building for a dedicated streaming mix.
  • Sending select channels to a stagebox’s analogue outs to be captured by a podcast team with a portable / location recorder.
  • Recording all clean sources, channels pre-fader, and FX onto a USB card for an offline mix for a album launch “live album” mix.
  • Waves Soundgrid integration providing a studio-level of processing for high-end public events and larger scale festivals, including Defeedback.
